Carteras de Sex and The City / Sex and the City's Handbags

Sex and the City, no solo refiriéndonos a las películas, sino a la serie misma, es una de las series que mas marco tendencia en los EEUU en el sentido de la moda y por supuesto, en el uso de carteras de diferentes tipos, texturas, colores y formas. 

Hoy vamos a mostrarles algunas de las carteras que aparecieron en los shows y vamos a expresar opiniones sobre ellas. Tu opinión es importante también asique comenten y siéntanse libres de expresarse. 

Sex and The City, not only the movies but also the sitcom itself, transformed fashion and tendencies in the US as regards fashion and of course, different styles, textures, colours and shapes of handbags. 
Today we are going to show you some of their handbags, and then, to give some opinions about them. Your opinion is important too, so comment and feel free to express yourself.

 Por ejemplo, tomemos este modelo de Channel que usa (más bien alquila) la asistente personal de Carrie. Sacando que es una marca muy famosa, Uds. ¿usarían algo así "peludo"? Cabe destacar que no es una cartera para cualquiera,  no solo porque hay que saber con qué combinarla sino que además, hay que tener actitud para saber llevarla. 

For example, let's take this Channel Handbag that uses (actually she rents it) Carrie's personal assistant.  Without taking into account the brand which is obviously very famous... Would you use something hairy like this? It must be said that is not a handbag for anyone, not only because you have to know when to use and with which but also because the person who use it must have attitude to walk with it.

 Vemos que en esta escena, tanto Carrie como Samantha usan carteras de tamaño pequeño. Esenciales para ir de compras (y así ocupar nuestras manos con mas bolsas de compras!) o salidas nocturnas. Durante el día, Uds. ¿usarían carteras de este tamaño o las consideran exclusivamente aptas para la noche y fiestas? 

In this scene, Carrie and Samantha use small handbags. This handbags are essential to go shopping (plenty space in our hands to buy as many things as we can!) or during the night outs. 

Would you use this size of handbags during the day? or do you consider them only wearable at night and parties?

Aquí en el caso de Charlotte, ¿usarían el mismo color y parecida tonalidad de cartera con lo que llevan puesto como ella? ¿O preferirían contrastar?

Here, Charlotte is wearing the same colour and tonality in her clothes and handbag so, would you use a handbag that matches your clothes in that sense? Or would you like to contrast with it?

Si pudieran elegir entre alguna de las carteras de arriba, ¿cual elegirían? ¿Por qué? Yo definitivamente la primera, no solo por la combinación entre el azul y el rosa sino además por la forma. Si bien las otras tres tienen distinta forma entre sí, ninguna me resulta tan atrayente. Además, la primera y la segunda son las más audaces dentro de lo que es color. Las otras dos son más de acompañamiento más que de llamar la atención. La blanca es quizás más elegante y la anaranjada para ir al supermercado o comprar verduras. ¿Qué opinan?

If you could choose any of the handbags above which one would you choose? Why? I would definitely choose the first one not only because of the blue-pink colour combination but also because of the shape. The other three have different shape between them, but none of them attracts me.  Besides the first one and the second one are more edgy while the other two don't catch my attention at all. The white one is maybe a little bit more fancy while the orange one I would take it to the supermarket or while I go out to buy some groceries. 

Tengo que admitir que usaría esta cartera más que durante el día para la noche, al menos aquí en Argentina. Si le doy punto a Samantha por haber combinado el amarillo con un dorado, puesto que si bien son colores parecidos no queda muy forzada la combinación, sino que le da un toque más fashionista. Uds ¿qué opinan? ¿La usarían de día también? ¿Y combinado con amarillo o con ropa de otro color?

I have to admit that I love the way she combined the yellow of her clothes with this golden handbag because it doesn't look so match it match it. However, I would wear that handbag during the night rather than during the day, at least here in Argentina. What do you think? Would you wear it during the day too? Would you combine it with yellow or with other coloured clothing?

And last but not least, what do you think of this handbag? I'm not sure how I feel about it because when I look at the photo I feel like she is graving a chicken... I love feathers but probably in white feathers I would love it more. Are you a kind of person that would use this kind of handbag or you feel like me like graving a chicken?

Y por ultimo pero no menos importante, que piensan de esta cartera? Yo no estoy segura como me siento al respecto porque cuando miro a la foto siento que Carrie tiene en sus manos una gallina... Me encantan las plumas, pero si fueran en color blanco quizás me gustarían más. ¿Sos ese tipo de persona que usaría este tipo de cartera o te sentís como yo, como si estuviera agarrando una gallina?
